All about me

OK, so you're I guess you might be a little interested, or else you wouldn't have come here, but I'm almost certain that you're not that bothered about the literature below. To put it plainly, this page is here to hit some keywords, which are relevant to me. There you go, I said it!

Brief bio

My name (believe it or not) is Dan Ward, I am <insert age here> years old and live in Bedfordshire.

I enjoy driving, swimming (when I actually go), cooking and more than anything, the Internet. I also happen to be lucky enough to have their hobby as their career, which is anything and everything computer-related, but more specifically web site design and development (yes they are two very different things).

Where the web interest started

My web site design and development hobby started at school, when I began to work with PHP, MySQL and simple HTML4 to create some basic web sites, which then developed in to creating those nasty introduction screens when Flash 5 took hold of the Internet. I must also add that I was very much a Windows fan, using it while creating my projects.

Now, <insert year here> years since my hobby began, I'm totally converted to using Mac OS X, more down to the reliability and performance than anything else; oh, and Macs look cool!. I've also moved over to using Django with Python, which has cut the development time of projects by a substantial amount of time.

Current experience

There's a reason why I there's a link at the top of the page called 'experience', but let me link it for you here.
